Asm Mlc Study Manual

makes subscript.`superscript`. makes superscript.sub`sup`. makes sub sup. I recently switched into Actuarial Science as a junior at uni. I've taken several upper-division statistics courses, and looking through the ACTEX manual for Exam P, I know all of the concepts discussed aside from the last section on the insurance stuff.

I'm scheduled to take Exam P for the first time on May 18; do I have enough time to study and have a decent shot at passing? I plan to do all of the problems in the ACTEX manual + the 7 practice tests, the practice test the SOA has, the Sample Exam P questions the SOA has (around 350) and 4 more practice exams from The Infinite Actuary. I just passed P today! I started studying in the middle of February, so it's definitely possible. For background though, I took my first statistics class last fall and thought that taking the class was enough (it was not), and got a 2. This time, I'd already completed 2 statistics courses and 2 courses that prepare you for C (required by my major). By this point, I was pretty comfortable with the material.

I kept track of how much I studied, and I only studied for 58 hours. I used ASM, and I only did the odd numbered questions and took one practice test. I wouldn't recommend that for most people, but you mentioned that you've taken several statistics courses, so you might be fine!
